family time

These last few weeks have been nothing but family!

us girls took a trip to the mall on wednesday and it was lots of fun to catch up and hang out

 then friday night I decided to just go stay the night at my parents and it ended up being a party

they took me to thai food friday night which is never a let down and we watched movies and pigged out

saturday morning my mom and I went and got our nails done which is always the best way to end a good week, then we did some shopping

the kids played some football since the weather was so nice, we all loved having the sun out!

I even thought it was time to finally go get a car wash cause I haven't since last summer, it was really exciting. 

Its been lots of fun and I am so excited to have spring on its way!

I know my blog is just mostly pictures because I blog every 3 months, promise I am trying to work on that. 

And I know no one really checks blogs anymore but I really do enjoy it for myself and keep record of everything. My journal can't do pictures :) 

Welp it is another year started! So crazy! I still can't believe it

Last year started really crapped and ended so awesome. 

Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas were all so fun and busy. 

A lot of time with family, friends, and work parties 

The last 4 months of last year seriously flew by it was nuts

I am so thankful for where last year put me and where I am now

This year has already been off to a great start

Work is going really well and I am still enjoying it

McCall left for her mission to New Mexico

I got a new calling, the bishops assistant...ha 

Stacie had her baby! Olive Jane Murdock, she has been such a dear and we are all obsessed. 

And Mike and I booked our flights to San Fran for April! We are so excited, I have never been and have heard it is absolutely beautiful! 

Life is good and busy!

the good life

just another random update on my life...

life has been so good lately

I absolutely love my family, living in Salt Lake, seeing family in Canada, my sisters, my best friends, the beautiful fall weather, my amazing job that I still don't know how I got so lucky with, my roommate who is always serving me, my healthy body,  the beautiful temple in my view every morning...the list goes on. Crazy where life takes you! And crazy how much you find yourself enjoying it all 

new york!!!!!!

mike and i did a quick weekend trip to new york and it was hands down the best trip ever

we had an absolute blast!! 

it was my first time going and mike goes all the time so it was good to have a tour guide

we saw and did everything i wanted to do and more

my friend josh was even there at the same time visiting so we got to meet up with him for a night

it was such a good trip and so glad we went! i for sure wouldn't mind going again :)

ps...there are a lot of pictures!!! and they are not in order...

i have always wanted to see the statue of liberty, but the ferry was closed down so this was as good as i got to it! i promise it was cooler in person

empire state building was for sure my favorite part. seeing the view was so refreshing and so neat! 

riding the subway literally made me nervous, all the weird people

it was also so humid and hot waiting for it

but it was a lot cheaper than taxis!

we stayed right in times square...it was so pretty!

i even loved it when it rained, the weather was still so nice 

we went to the rockefeller plaza and walked around inside

josh and i being tourists 

we went on a nice little tour around central park with some cheesecake

this guy had a cart hooked on to his bike and rode us around he was so out of breath we could barely understand him 

the huge toy story on 5th avenue. i could really spend all day there, it was so neat! 

and they have life size candy 

finally went to the real serendipity from the movie!! i was so giddy and went to the real spot where they actually filmed it

i couldn't believe that these were actually onion rings and not doughnuts.

they were huge! and not very good 

the new world trade centers, it was so neat to see this sight! and all the new buildings 

finally saw wicked!!!!! 

this was as much as i got to the statue of liberty, a black man in the costume

still felt pretty cool 

ummm i was pretending to kiss his cheek and he turned his head

his breath stunk so bad. we really aren't kissing, the flame just makes it look like we are

met up with josh and his friends, a lot of fun!

saw the night life of ny 

loved this show, i could so go again

i am not a huge fan of plays but i actually really enjoyed this one! 

after 09/11 after everything was removed this was the only thing still standing, so they moved it to battery park. thought that was pretty cool

it was so pretty at night when it was raining, i couldn't get enough of the scenery 

hands down the best pizza i have had, i loved all the pizza we tried!

and all the slices were so big 

mike hates pictures, it was pulling teeth trying to make him take one with me

this is pretty much all i got

we had a lot of fun and were sad to go home. 

can't wait to see where we go next!
